erised acres
Located in Scafell Pike mountain, not far from the muggle hamlet of Wasdale Head. Erised Acres was originally the ancestral home of the de Montmorency family, built in 1473 by Euphrosyne de Montmorency when the family first immigrated to England from France. In 1655, Pothos de Montmorency, inspired by the hedonism of Louis XIV's court, created the enchantment that remains imbued into the grounds of the estate to this day. The existence of the echantment is a secret well-kept by the descendants of the de Montmorency family.
In 2000, two years after the death of Voldemort, Calypso de Montmorency decided to use the family's enchantment to counter the enmity and hatred left in the aftermath of the war. To that end, she converted the estate into a wellness retreat for all those affected by the war. Over the next two years, Erised Acres' success in "rehabilitating" it's guests became so pronounced that the Ministry of Magic began formally endorsing the retreat as an alternative to traditional forms of counseling, training, and probation.
the facilities
Erised Acres is a fully staffed retreat, complete with luxury lodging and extendend ameneties. While at the retreat, guests are assigned to a cousellor with whom they have regular one-on-one therapy sessions. Outside of sessions, they have free roam of the estate.
first floor of the estate is devoted to shared spaces including sitting rooms, a library, kitchen, dining room, ballroom, pool, hot tub, and a glass patio extension that houses a sitting lounge and a small bar serving cocktails & small plates.Access to the pool is allowed 7am - 11pm and open to all during these hours. Hot tub access is is based on a first-come first-serve sign up for hourly slots. The patio bar is open daily from 5pm - 1am.
second floor are counselor offices and staff suites.
floors three through five are guest suites.
exterior grounds include the pond, garden maze, greenhouse, and quidditch pitch.
suites
Suites consist of two rooms joined by a shared bathroom. Two people per suite, with one person per room.
